Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has inaugurated Phase-I of the CM Punjab Laptop Scheme, distributing 13th Gen Core i7 laptops to 213 deserving students at ITU as part of a wider effort to equip 110,000 students across Punjab with modern digital tools.

In a proud moment for ITU, 14 students were also awarded the CM Punjab Honhaar Scholarships, a major step in ensuring continued education for talented students from humble backgrounds.

Under this transformative initiative: Laptops are being distributed to students in 13 public universities, 6 medical colleges, and 27 higher education institutions in the Lahore Division—with 14,000 laptops allocated for this region alone.

The Honhaar Scholarship Program will award 20,000 scholarships across Punjab, including PKR 120 million in scholarships to 3,121 students in Lahore Division.

At ITU, we celebrate this visionary step towards a digitally empowered and academically inclusive Punjab. Thank you, CM Punjab, for placing technology and talent hand-in-hand.
