The Faculty of Engineering at Information Technology University, Lahore was established in 2013 with the aim of providing state of the art engineering education and research facilities to meet the next generation challenges. Comprising the Department of Electrical Engineering (EE) and the Department of Computer Engineering (CE), we have world-class faculty who have studied and worked in institutions of international repute. Our students are closely mentored with a carefully designed curriculum to produce future technologists, leaders, entrepreneurs and engineers.
The ITU EE program is unique nationally due to the availability of well-stocked, state-of-the-art laboratories and a thriving high-quality research culture.
Our unique curriculum for the BS Computer Engineering program provides the right mix of courses to embrace the 5th industrial revolution that redefines the interaction between man and machine.
The Faculty of Engineering is dedicated to empowering its students through the development of their analytical and problem-solving skills. We prepare them for exciting careers in emerging areas such as Communications, Control & Robotics, Embedded Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Data Science, the Internet of Things (IoT), Database-systems, Industrial Automation, Cyber-Physical Systems, Cloud Computing, Computer Vision, Sensing & Networking, and Big Data Analytics.
