RESEARCH INTERESTS
Nouman Ali’s research interests currently focus on performance guarantees for multi-scale energy harvesting systems and real-time non-intrusive load monitoring (NILM). Beyond these, his work spans embedded systems, IoT-based automation, and smart energy solutions, with emphasis on real-time system design, hardware–software co-design, power monitoring and control, and energy-efficient computing.
Biography
Nouman Ali is currently pursuing his PhD in Electrical Engineering at the Information Technology University (ITU), Lahore. He obtained his Masters in Electrical Engineering from the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS), NUST, and bachelors in Electrical Engineering from COMSATS University, Lahore Campus with a Silver Medal.
Over the course of his academic and professional journey, Nouman has contributed to the design of smart meters, automatic line changeover systems, and low-cost residential power monitoring devices.
