RESEARCH INTERESTS
Currently, he is perusing research in the area of investigating optical and electronic properties of structurally confined structures beyond 2D regime and 2D based Van der Waals hetero-structures for nano-optoelectronic applications using analytical, numerical and predictive approaches. He is proficient in developing research material, technical reports and funding proposals along with experience of teaching and supervising projects in the area of electronics engineering, device and material physics. He holds professional membership of IEEE and is a registered member of Pakistan Engineering Council.
Biography
Dr. Shahzad Ahmad obtained Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in ‘modeling and simulating properties of two-dimensional materials for nano-optoelectronic applications’ from Information Technology University. He initially served as a Lecturer in The University of Lahore and diligently fulfilled academic as well as administrative duties. Afterwards he joined Information Technology University as a PhD Fellow.
